Make Delicious Honey

Craft beer, craft whiskey… craft honey? Mmmm, yes please!

Did you know that most honey you can buy is a factory-produced blend, and you’re missing out on all the best flavors?

Single batch honey is taking a single honeycomb, harvesting it deliciously raw, directly into a single mason jar.

Of course the bees aren’t going to thank you for doing it their way, taking honey is robbing them! …so how do you get happy bees and the best honey flavors?

The secret is that a single bee and her beehive visit their closest sources of nectar. Bees usually fill whole honeycomb frames with a single nectar source, one honeycomb at a time.

As the seasons change and different flowers bloom, the honey in each honeycomb can be completely different! That’s all lost in a blend.

Ok – so why would they be happy? That’s where tech and micro-batch beekeeping comes in: We minimize the stress on bees, by maximizing their welfare.

We take only when the bees have spare, and keep an eye on our hives with the best beekeeping technology out there – Eyesonhives.
